Comprised of a 100 local creatives, The Creative City was an exciting and vibrant exhibition, that confidently celebrated colour and all things Birmingham.
The Creative City featured a 100 full 60×40″ size posters pasted up onto A-boards, all created using the same limited colour palette.
The exhibition was held in Factory Works at the Custard Factory in Digbeth. Over 600 people attended the exhibition, using the launch party as an opportunity to celebrate our local community.
PIXEL PERFECT
My submission Pixel Perfect, was inspired by the idea that we tend not to show our true emotions online, instead we opt to put a smile on and present the best version of ourselves. Our ‘digital’ self.
Alongside the exhibition, Birmingham Design Festival produced a short film showcasing some of the 'Creative City' contributors , documenting their background, their creative vision and the spaces they work from around Birmingham.
THE BULLRING
The Creative City Exhibition currently remains on display, across all three floors of the Bullring shopping centre. Adorning the walls on the front of the former Debenhams site.
